There are two different ways to send SIF Objects.
- SIF - Send Objects allows you to send specific objects for the entire district. This is the only way to send Summer Withdrawals. At this time, you also need to use this method to send the StaffEvaluation data.
- SIF Reporting allows you to send all the objects required for a specific state report (SIMS, SCS, EPIMS, or SSDR) for the entire district, by School, by Student, by Course, or by Staff member.
SIF - Send Objects
NOTE: SIF - Send Objects will send the specific object for the entire district (all schools, all students, all courses, all staff). Since this can involve a lot of records and take time to update at the DOE, you may want to consider using SIF Reporting to send for just one school or just for one student, course or staff member.
Prior to sending SIF Objects you should clear the SIF Temp Table.
Go to SIF Agent > SIF Delete TMP Table
- Select the Object that you want to clear the temp table out for. Reference objects list below. ** You may select multiple objects. **
- Submit the screen.
- A count of the objects cleared will appear on this screen.

Then send Objects:
Go to SIF Agent > SIF – Send Objects
- Agent = State (Unless you are a regional site with additional agents in that case select the correct agent to use)
- Academic Year = Defaults to current reporting year
- Object = (Select the object you want to send - see SIF - Send Objects list below) ** You may select multiple objects. Large districts should consider doing this during off hours or break send them by report (SIMS, SCS, EPIMS, SSDR). **
- Count Only = Create Objects and Send
- Action = Add (Leave this as Add always)

SIF Reporting
You can use SIF Reporting to send all the SIF Objects for a particular state report. This way you don't need to think about which SIF Objects to select to send. This method also allows you to send Objects for just one school, just one student, just one course, or just one staff member.
Prior to sending objects you should clear the SIF Temp Table. See above steps.
Go to SIF Agent > SIF Reporting
- Click inside the radio button to select SIMS, SCS, SSDR, or EPIMS.
- Select the School to limit the sending of objects by School or to get additional selection options.
- You must select the School to get options to enter an individual student, course, or individual staff member.

A report is sent to My Reports with the count of records sent for that object,
